Common Causes Of Arch Pain
Arch pain refers to discomfort or pain felt along the arch of the foot, which is the curved part along the bottom of the foot between the heel and the ball. This area is supported by the plantar fascia and various ligaments and muscles. Arch pain can arise from several causes:
1. Plantar Fasciitis:
-Inflammation of the plantar fascia, the band of tissue that runs from the heel to the toes along the arch of the foot. This can cause sharp pain in the heel or along the arch, especially after periods of rest or during the first steps in the morning.
