Your best posture is your next posture. There is no such thing as an ideal posture unless you keep on moving. Every individual should be able to move fearlessly without worrying about 'What if I sustain an injury? Am I doing harm to my joints? What if I develop some aches and pains? Can I manage my symptoms independently?'

In my 5+ years of experience primarily in an outpatient setting I have seen patients of all age groups and successfully helped them in various musculoskeletal impairments like postural sprain/strains, ligament injuries, muscle pain/tears, joint pains, instability, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, post operative rehabilitation and recovery from sport injuries. I have also treated patients with systemic impairments like rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, SLE and various neurological conditions not limited to stroke, Parkinson’s, peripheral neuropathy etc. I completed my Physical Therapy education in Mumbai, India from a college affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and completed a post-graduate program in Health Systems Management from Fanshawe college, London, Ontario, and now a practicing Registered Physiotherapist in Canada.

My practice focuses on detailed patient education, manual therapy involving myofascial releases, mobilisations, electrotherapy and patient centred therapeutic exercise program involving posture re-education, mobility, flexibility, endurance and strength training. I have experience in designing prenatal/postnatal exercise regime, conducting group fitness classes for geriatrics and performing ergonomic assessments with appropriate modifications. I believe in not only treating physical impairments but also in injury prevention.
